Ensembl DomainView
Introduction
Ensembl 'DomainView' displays Ensembl gene predictions containing a hit to a certain InterPro domain entry.
Clicking the accession number in the top line takes you to the appropriate InterPro page.
Genes containing InterPro hits are represented by red arrows on the karyotype ideogram. Pointing over any red arrow pops up a menu with Ensembl gene identifier(s), linked to 'GeneView' pages and the chromosomal location linked to 'ContigView' pages. In 'ContigView' the gene will be marked by a green background.
Likewise, in the table below, clicking on a linked 'Ensembl Gene ID' takes you to detailed information about that gene on its Ensembl 'GeneView' page. The linked Genome Location will redirect you to the corresponding 'ContigView' page. Again, a green background in will highlight the gene 'ContigView'.
The search box at the top of the page allows you to search for any identifier present in Ensembl. For detailed instructions see the Ensembl 'TextView' page.
